Olympus E-520: A Competent and Reliable DSLR

The AF mode can be chosen in Live View, while the noise reduction is proven to be excellent and intensive. The Live View sets the right exposure and even auto-brightens images when necessary. The magnification in Live View is so superb that photographers find it helpful in manual focusing and using macros.
Another benefit of preferring Olympus E-520 digital SLR over other DSLRs is that it contains the Supersonic Wave Filter that does not let any dust damage the sensor. As what was mentioned earlier, the user interface and controls can be customized very easily for the convenience of the photographer. Another great feature would be the fully customizable RAW+JPEG, which is an over-the-top feature considering other cameras which are only capable of fixed JPEG settings. The Kelvin white balance option makes this camera different from other entry-level DSLRs since the white balance default settings are customizable and finer than the others.
